I created this mentor/mentee handbook after I was assigned a mentee and there was no handbook in my school or district. This handbook/checklist allowed my mentee and I to have an agenda each time we met. This checklist includes a full calendar school year (August to June), with month by month discussion points, with room for notes.
This checklist will:
-Help you to stay on topic during monthly meetings
-Allow you a reference to refer back to during each meeting
-Structure your time together
-Provide documentation as to what you discussed
-Hold both the mentor and mentee accountable
It is provided to you in Word so that it is fully editable for you to customize as you see fit according to your district and school guidelines.
**I have noticed this displays differently between my work PC and my home Mac. For me it just meant that the month heading was on the previous page rather than on the same page it was meant to be. All I had to do was push the "enter" button once to move it back down.**
