Mentor Sentences are making the sweep around the nation. And for good reason. They are awesome! If you have been looking for a way to expose your students to finely crafted sentences using correct grammar, then you have found it.Thanks be to Krista Wallden for her super cute alien clipart.
I have paired ten of my favorite Mentor Texts with ten beginning of the year grammar concepts that fourth graders are asked to study. The lessons don’t need to be kept in the first semester of school. They can be used at any time during the year and still be beneficial to your students. Can you say standardized testing review?
