→ How can this resource support you and your students?
Explicit instruction and in depth modeling are the first steps to teaching a new skill. These lessons and resources are intended to help you provide that in depth support for your students. Even if your school uses a reading series that introduces a weekly anchor text, these lessons could act as a re-teaching opportunity for students who did not grasp the skill the first time. The lesson incorporate opportunities for collaborative group discussion and individual practice. The editable aspect of each lesson allow you to have the freedom to customize the resources to fit the needs of your group, and save you time in doing so.
