In Ancient Egypt, students taught about the significance of the Nile River, as well as Upper and Lower Egypt, the impact of Menes (Narmer), the role of the pharaoh in the Egyptian religion, the mummification process, the Egyptian bureaucracy, the most significant pharaohs (King Tut, Ramses II, Hatshepsut, etc).
