This is a figurative language activity to use after reading Gordon Korman's novel, SCHOOLED,
which has an abundance of interesting metaphors that the kids will relate to. It is a one-page activity sheet that gives examples and then asks students to explain metaphors from the novel, find additional metaphors in the novel, and list cliches that they have heard at school.
