In this webquest, students practice being real-world meteorologists forecasting and interpreting weather maps. They use current weather websites to track current conditions and to predict future conditions. They explore the different types of weather maps meteorologists use to track different aspects of the weather. The webquest allows ample room to individualized student exploration. Students can explore different types of maps of their interest, as well as different places around the world. They also analyze and create station models representing the exact conditions in specific places. In webquest, students also learn about weather fronts and air masses through engaging interactives and visuals.
