Product Description
This foldable is used as a memory device for students when converting metric units. The step method works well with Kilo through milli metric conversion but the factor label method works every time with larger or smaller numbers. This 2 step method works well when converting ANY unit and is used often in Chemistry class.

Copy both pages front to back and then fold in a tri-fold for a foldable. Shrink and glue middle fold into an interactive notebook also.

Convert like measurement units within a given measurement system.

Convert among different-sized standard measurement units within a given measurement system (e.g., convert 5 cm to 0.05 m), and use these conversions in solving multi-step, real world problems.
NCTM Position
Students need to develop an understanding of metric units and their relationships, as well as fluency in applying the metric system to real-world situations. Because some non-metric units of measure are common in particular contexts, students need to develop familiarity with multiple systems of measure, including metric and customary systems and their relationships.
