Product Description
Metric Measurement Dominoes is a fun science game for students in grades 5-8 to reinforce their understanding of the International System of Units. As students connect their domino-style playing cards, they will become more familiar with the terminology associated with weight, mass, volume, density, time, length, and temperature. Students will also develop higher-level thinking skills as they determine relationships between tool, purpose, and unit.

For example, students can connect “triple-beam balance” to “mass”, since that is what it measures. They can then connect “grams” since that is the unit mass is measured in. They could then connect “milligrams”, since there are 1,000 milligrams in one gram.

-Playing Cards (3 pages, 30 cards, black and white)
-Top Card Page (color and black and white)

- Are You a Metric Master? Assessment (A fill-in-the-blank style quiz that can be used for classwork or homework. I have included two versions for different grades or ability levels. One has a word bank, the other does not. Answers are included!)

This game can be printed on cardstock, laminated, and used for years. You can also print in black and white, run it off on the copier, and have it ready to go in no time flat if you need something quick!
