These activities were created for use in my classroom to assist in introducing and practicing measurement concepts. I use the activities and Interactive Notebook (INB) elements in conjunction with our text.
Each lesson includes an opening activity with instruction page for class, a hands-on activity for students, an interactive notebook element and a follow up activity. The lessons may extend over more than 1 day – they are just broken into concepts.
I have included pictures from my classroom and some general lesson ideas.
