These two pages have the students think about when they would use metric measurements (grams, liters, and meters). They are given situations ( the length of your foot, the amount of water in a pool, your weight) and asked to name if they would use grams, liters, or meters. The next set of questions asks students to convert measurements and the final section asks students to compare measurements using greater than, less than, or equal signs.
This document includes a one page study guide (worksheet that I assign for homework the night before the test) and a one page test that follows the same format as the study guide.
Currently, answers are not included in this document. This document is made in Microsoft Word and can be customized to fit your needs (it was originally created with the font MV Boli, so formatting may have changed with upload...)
