This unit includes:
Photo Posters:
You can use the five colorful vocabulary posters with the real-life photo posters as an introduction to the unit. These posters make an excellent bulletin board display in a snap!
Reading:
Next, have students read the passages all about Mexico. THERE ARE TWO VERSIONS OF INFORMATIONAL ARTICLES: One has real-life photographs, and the other has scenes for students to color, depending on the needs of your students. After reading the passages, have students complete the suitcase organizer and other related activities. There are two versions, one with clip art and one without it. These work well in centers, learning stations, and group work.
