Product Description
Mexico! Learn about our neighbor to the south! Includes a fantastic 10-page complex text to use when teaching social studies. Also includes an anticipation guide with questions to guide your student's reading of the text.

”Mexico: Our Neighbor to the South” is a 10-page informational text packet that can be used as a "textbook chapter" when teaching about Mexico. In the complex text, your students will learn about the land, water, climate, products, natural resources, landmarks, government, money, and culture of Mexico. This listing is for just the informational text. The Mexico: Our Neighbor to the South Complete Unit with Complex Text includes this 10-page text, along with a unit test, study guide, and a scrapbook activity.

While these materials were written to correspond to Florida's Next Generation Sunshine State Standards for 3rd grade Social Studies when I couldn't find anything else appropriate for my students, Mexico: Our Neighbor to the South Complete Unit with Complex Text is also perfect for 4th, 5th, or 6th graders studying the countries of North America.
