Mexico – Spanish Conquest is an interactive lesson plan that covers the landing of Hernando Cortes in Mexico and the eventual destruction of the Aztec nation. It also covers the Spanish territory in the New World and the outlining of the government system as it was set-up in the Americas.
This lesson plan includes 3 foldables, 2 pages of notes, 6 pages of a timeline to accompany this time period, a map of Cortes’ trek to speak to the Aztecs, a business card assignment, and all answer keys.
This lesson is also located within my Mexican Independence Interactive Notebook if you would like to save money and are teaching a whole unit on Mexico. Please see below for a link to that product.
