This is one of my favorite activities to do with my students! Two activities are included, one based on a more simple story for beginners or younger students, and another similar activity based on a more complex story for older or more advanced students.
Students first read a story about Miguel and his best friend, José. Miguel describes his family, and the family of José. Students then cut out pictures of the members of each boy's family, and they then paste them on to separate pages based on each person's unique description from the story.
Use these activities as a learning and comprehension exercise, or turn it into a game by having students, working individually or in teams, compete to see who can complete the exercise correctly first! Answer keys are included so that students can check their work.
My students love this activity and they learn so much!
