This assignment asks students to create a dialogue with a friend that describes their school schedules. It looks for information on classes, class times, teachers, and school supplies. Students create a dialogue revolving around what their school day will look like. This would be great with students who are studying how to say classes, times and school supplies. Students use a phone look alike to "text" his/her friend about classes, class times, teachers and school supplies.
There are 4 activities included in this download:
1. Activity 1 – Have students begin to brainstorm about the vocabulary needed to describe school supplies, classes, and time. These words will eventually help them when they are describing their school schedules.
2. Activity 2 – Have students fill in their current class schedules. These can then be used as a reference when they are creating conversations or writing back and forth.
3. Activity 3 – Have students read and answer questions based on their current class schedules.
4. Activity 4 – Have students create a coversation between two people about a school schedule or have students pass a paper back and forth, creating an interpretive writing conversation.
