This is the first in a series of colorful and fun readers I made for my class. They progress from the Pre-K up to the first grade level.
This set actually has 2 readers in it. The first one is "Mic and Tip," introducing the characters Mic and his fun-loving dog, Tip, and 23 words at the kindergarten level.
The second book is called, "Mic and Tip at the Fair", and is a cute story about a boy and his dog and their adventures at the fair.
If you are a home schooler and your child has already been introduced to reading, this series could be perfect for children as young as 4 years old.
For children in class, this series of books is excellent for review, class discussion and having fun learning together.
Children can sit together in a circle and take turns reading, or the teacher can project the book onto the Activboard so everyone can see and read it all together!
You can either use these books together in the series, or as stand alone booklets and activities.
The cute, bright illustrations (on one side, with bold text on the adjacent page) capture the eyes and minds of young readers, and once they are done reading the book, they love to look at it again and again, which gives them ample opportunity to review and reinforce the words they have learned without them even realizing it!
Each pack includes:
1 fully illustrated color reader with 1 original story
1 set of printable flash cards
1 activity book
1 page of review words
These reader packs have been downloaded over 10,000 times each on TES and ISSUU--they are very popular and children love them!
Note: The preview images are taken only from the reader, not from the activity book or flash card booklet.
