A four page resource (can be photocopied back to back and laminated for repeated use) on the British contemporary artist Michael Landy, and specifically on his botanical series of prints entitled 'Nourishment'.
Can be used as a cover lesson during a relevant project (botanical art, natural forms, drawing, etching, metaphors...), an extension activity, or as a whole class task. Students are asked to read the information about the artist then answer questions, create their own study inspired by Landy's work from the source imagery provided. They are then asked to evaluate their own drawing.
Designed to be easy to deploy and requires no additional resources. A fantastic resource to have on hand and relevant to so many projects!
