New to Micro:Bit?
This is the resource to get you and your students started. Included are 15 lessons (each, approx. 45 minutes) and 3 projects. The entire unit can cover an entire year of learning when being taught once a week. The program is given to you in two formats: Powerpoints and Google Slides.
Students will learn the basics of what a Micro:Bit is, its main components, and how to use it properly. The lessons are designed to explain and teach a specific concept, and then to test it out using the Micro:Bit. Projects will reinforce a multiple of lessons already taught prior. It is recommended that students each have their own with access to a computer/laptop, or to place students in small groups.
Students will learn:
The lessons are cumulative and are ordered to expand on skills previously learned. An advanced course will soon be released to follow this one!
