This was my 9th grade Studio Art students' favorite lesson last year! It is an excellent example of combining text, literacy, and art to express individuality. This lesson works particularly well in the beginning of a course to help the class get to know one another, and to create a quick, successful work of art.
This purchase includes:
1. The brainstorming worksheet to begin the lesson
2. It asks students to collect 50 plus words to describe themselves and various aspects of their lives to be included in the Micrography Portrait lesson.
Note: The the student reflection worksheet, PowerPoint and original lesson are separate files to be purchased in my shop.
