Setting Goals has created a choice board designed for Georgia Science Standard- S5L4: Students will relate how microorganisms benefit or harm larger organisms.
a. Identify beneficial microorganisms and explain why they are beneficial.
b. Identify harmful microorganisms and explain why they are harmful.
As we all know, differentiation is a major component of the everyday classroom. This choice board allows students to exhibit their knowledge of microorganisms in a variety of ways. You can use this choice board in the traditional tic-tac-toe sense (three across horizontally or three across diagonally), or you may decide for students to randomly choose their activities to demonstrate their knowledge of the benefits and harmful attributes of microorganisms. It’s up to you!!! Hopefully, this will assist you in your classroom.
