Description
This activity is designed to be used as a review for the parts of a microscope.
Students will work with a partner to sort and match the parts of a microscope to their function. They will match the part number to the display microscope, then identify the name and function of the part.
1. Print, cut, color code, and laminate the parts of a microscope strips (pages 4 and 5).
2. Project the Display Microscope (page 6) for students to match the numbers to.
3. Once matched to the picture, student will identify the name and function of the part.
This activity can easily be differentiated for different grade levels by taking away a part of the activity (the numbers, the names, or the functions).
