As students work through the 2013 Excel Video tutorials, they are also required to completed three "work orders." The work orders are meant to be like a mini-quiz to check depth of understanding, and are similar to how someone might use Excel in real life. No step by step instructions are provided, just a request for what needs to be done.
This file includes three work orders. The first is meant to be completed after Assignment 3. In this assignment, student create a Personal Goal chart where they can keep track of their goals on a daily basis. Certain features are required, but for the most part, students are free to create it to their own taste.
In Work Order #2, to be completed after Lesson 6, students are an employee of a Travel agency, and must create several charts using the data provided. This one comes with a step by step video that can be used by the teacher or provided for struggling students.
Finally, Work Order #3 comes after Lesson 7. In this assignment. students look up raw data online and create a graph from scratch. This can be quite challenging, but is an essential skill in advanced Excel.
