This a zipped folder that contains two student 2010 PowerPoint test files with answer keys and two PowerPoint presentation answer keys for mini problems on the tests. Tests are suitable for grades 7-12. Topics covered range from basic to some advanced topics. Tests can be edited and added to.
Test 1 contains a section where students are labeling the parts of the PowerPoint window. Part 2 contains 15 short answer questions. Questions assess skills such as: groups on the ribbon, default buttons on Quick Access Toolbar and customizing the QAT, types of slide views, icons in placeholders, adding a text box, deleting and switching order of slides, minimizing the ribbon, using speaker notes, using the annotation pen when in slide presentation mode, using templates, line spacing and working with bullets. Part 3 is a mini problem that students do in PowerPoint. Skills assessed include: keying text in a placeholder, selecting design theme, importing a picture from the Internet as a bullet, clipart, screen shot and screen clipping and working with theme fonts.
Test 2 contains 13 short answer questions. Questions assess skills such as: placing a picture/image behind text, grouping images, creating and removing hyperlinks, working with grids and guides, create/modify/ and align text and images, applying headers and footers, slide transitions and sound, applying animation and slide timings, looping a presentation, and formatting features when inserting a video into PowerPoint. Part 2 is a mini problem that students do in PowerPoint. Skills assessed include: inserting clipart and utilizing features on the Picture tool tab, inserting animated and non-animated pictures, inserting shapes and WordArt and formatting using the Drawing tools tab.
