Word 2010 Activity- Creating Tables in Word- Weight on Various Planets
This fun assignment can be used in a Microsoft Office/Keyboarding, etc. class. This assignment consists of students creating a table that displays how much they would weigh if they were to visit each of the planets along with the moon and the sun. It is a lot of fun and students will really enjoy creating the table. This is so much more fun to do then what you find in the boring high school textbooks!
While creating this cool table students will learn the following objectives:
• To insert a table in Microsoft Word
• To type in a table
• To merge cells together
• To change the look of a table using the Table Styles feature
• To utilize the Sort button
• To delete rows
Students can use the easy step-by step directions to either do the table alone or you can do it with them as a class.
