As students work through the video assignments in this series, they are also asked to complete "work orders." The purpose of a work order is to give the student an opportunity to demonstrate what they know. Just as in the real world, an employee might be told to create a particular document that does a certain function, but would be given no step by step instructions. Students must draw from what they have learned to complete the requirements of a work order. This series has 3 work orders. Work Order 1 is to be completed after Lesson 4. Work Order 2 is after Lesson 6, and Work Order 3 is after Lesson 7. Although they are not time consuming and do not come with a video, I usually give more points for them because they are more of an assessment than an assignment. I have included all three work orders in this download, along with a sample of each assignment, finished.
