Have you ever wanted to travel around the world? Students in your class will get the chance and YOU will be the customs agent controlling whether your student travelers can venture to the next destination.
This math game reviews skills that your students will see on Module 2 mid-module assessment in Eureka Math Program / Engage NY.
Suggested way to play this game:
Rules: Students work in traveling pairs. The teacher should assign each pair a starting location so the pairs are scattered to different starting destinations in the game. Students must work together to solve the problems. Then they must check-in with the teacher after each completed question. If they get the answer right you give them a stamp or sticker on their passport by the appropriate box. Then they are ok to "travel" to the next destination. If they get it wrong you can assist them or give them hints. Then send them back to their work spot to figure out what they did wrong. The students complete the game when they have successfully traveled around the world!
Happy Math Traveling!
