"The Not-So-Famous Fables of Bob Aesop" is an ensemble play originally written for a group of 5th grade drama students, but suitable for any middle school drama class or after school drama club.
It is a collection of fables supposedly written by Aesop's younger brother, Bob. Each story ends with a moral, most of which are absurd.
The stories include:
- The Farmer and the Rats
- The Baking Contest
- The Old Woman, the Carpenter, and the Monkey
- The Two Brothers
- The Old Man, the Old Woman, and the Bear
The cast list includes 18 parts, some of which can be doubled up for a smaller group.
