This document is used for days that a teacher takes their class to the media center. This could be spontaneous or schedule weekly or monthly. It gives structure to the day, but there is NO PLANNING INVOLVED! It's GREAT! They can choose from certain websites to read from, bring their own reading selections, or check books out. They use the first half of the class to navigate reading materials and the second half to read them and do an activity with them (reading log, answer prompts, quiz, etc...up to teacher discretion).
This could be adapted to current subscriptions that the school or teacher has or the teacher could add their own twist and revise it to suit their classroom needs.
