TEKS 8.12c Select and use an appropriate representation for presenting and displaying relationships among collected data, including line plots, line graphs, stem and leaf plots, circle graphs, bar graphs, box and whisker plots, histograms, and Venn diagrams.
TEKS 8.13b Recognize misuses of graphical or numerical information and evaluate predictions and conclusions based on data analysis

Materials needed: Problem cards A-E, a calculator, and a partner.

Your task is to: Morph data from one form to the other!
• Create the stated graph for a given table on each problem card.
• Complete the graphs by labeling and scaling the axes (if needed), creating titles, and by labeling circle graphs.
• Then determine if each of the statements beneath the graphs is true or false. You will have to justify your thinking in writing using complete sentences.
• When done with all 5 data morphs, staple and turn in to your teacher.
Teacher Note:
Create a packet of all 5 Data Morphs per pair of students at this workstation.
