REGULARLY UPDATED AND EXPANDED GROWING BUNDLE! NOT JUST FOR SUB DAYS ANYMORE! Are you going to be absent from your Grade 6-9 Math classroom for several days or an even longer indefinite period, or are you simply tired of the standard lessons in your class and looking to spice things up? Then how about a set of 32 "printable/no prep" Middle School-level resources and activities for a substitute teacher, for an emergency sub folder, or just as a break from the regular day-to-day lessons in your class? Are you tired of the last-minute scramble to find meaningful and appealing sub work or fun activities for your math class when you feel really sick or need an easier day with your class? Then eliminate the stress now!
This is a teacher and student-friendly collection designed to make middle school math class simple for you to plan AND educational and motivating for your Grade 6-9 students! These resources work with you gone or with you there! Each of these THIRTY-TWO engaging activities can be used individually, with partners, or in larger groups, and they require no special effort or skill for a sub to implement. Each takes between 20-60 minutes to complete, depending on student ability.
I have included THIRTY-TWO different lengthy activities/printables in this bundle because we each have our own preferences as teachers when we are absent or need a break from the routine lesson. This collection gives you the ability to pick and choose exactly what works best for your Grade 6-9 class depending on what your students are currently learning, their ability levels, or based on what they have just finished studying. There are also plenty of "just plain fun" math printables that can be used at any time of the school year!
THIS IS A GROWING BUNDLE!
What does that mean? A growing bundle is a resource collection that will grow (be added on to) over time. This bundle currently contains the THIRTY-TWO resources listed below. I will be adding more printable/no prep materials as I design and produce them. The last update in resources and price increase was on November 9. The next update is scheduled for December, when several exciting new resources will be added. The benefit of buying a growing bundle today is that you have the opportunity to purchase the collection at the current price before future resources are completed and added. All the products that are added to this growing bundle after you purchase it will be FREE forever for downloading, and you will receive a notification when any new resource is added. Buying as early as possible will lock in the lowest price.
You can be sure your middle school students will be busy working on age-appropriate and captivating, creative math activities AND reviewing their basic skills, and isn’t that what we all want as teachers? The collection includes:

Please look at the Preview to see samples from this resource! My advice would be to leave this entire collection behind and ready-to-go in an emergency sub folder for any unexpected absences. Further, I always leave a photocopied class set of my favorite printable in the top desk drawer in case I have to call in sick from home in the morning or just feel the need to deviate from the planned lesson for the day!
Full answers are provided for all resources (except for a few of the activities with open-ended questions).
