Description

Are you looking for a fun and engaging way for your Middle School students to practice their knowledge with the reading standards? This middle school project based learning set of 91 different projects is perfect for getting even your most reluctant learners on board!

This is how it works:

Students have read various texts in your room. You choose the standard(s). You give students the appropriate menus and they choose the projects to complete based on the texts you have read using the included rubric. As students complete the projects, they turn in their work with a special reflective grading sheet and sign up for any presentations. You give the students a specified day to work on the projects and tell the students how many points they must earn per grading period. Students will complete as many projects as it takes to earn that many points.

There are between 9-11 different projects for each of these reading standards:

⭐Theme and Central Idea

⭐Citing Evidence

⭐Character and Idea Development

⭐ Point of View

⭐ Interpreting Words and Phrases

⭐ Analyzing Arguments

⭐ Media Literacy / Diverse Media

⭐ Text Structure

What's included:

✔️ A Teacher's Guide that explains exactly how to set everything up for success

✔️ A file for all the project choices

✔️ A file for all the grading forms

You'll love this because all the projects are aligned to the standards and all the materials are ready to go which saves you time. Students will love this because they can be creative and express themselves.

My 7th-grade students loved this set of projects and we hung their work around the room for the entire year. It was more than a brag board, it was a brag room! It really built community and it was fun reminiscing with these items at the end of the year. :)
