Mega Bundle of Middle School Science Topics: Newton's Laws of Motion, Ionic Bonding, Velocity, Acceleration, the Scientific Method, Metric System, and Atomic Structure. These Physical Science Task Cards are great year-round: I find that my students benefit from the continued practice and review of the concepts in these cards. They are perfect for stations, partner work, and starter activities, and emergency sub plans. I've also used them in game-type settings with the whole class in groups and as an informal formative assessment. They are also great for differentiation!
Note: For a limited time, I am offering a "Six Weeks to Summer Survival Kit" that includes this bundle, my Science Logic Puzzle Bundle, AND my Jeopardy Games Bundle. It's an amazing value at $29.99 and not only will help your students review and stay engaged in the weeks before summer, it will be a great toolkit for you for years to come! Find it here: Six Weeks to Summer Survival Kit
Six of my best-selling sets of task cards - 204 task cards in all - are included! The cards are arranged 4 to a page in full color. Most also have full-color clip art. All sets have answer sheets and "blanks" so that you can create your own questions on a laminated card. Print these cards out one time in color, laminate, and then use them over and over!
I use task cards often because they help me get my students away from worksheets that can be monotonous or overwhelming and they "chunk out" the work. The questions are also a great way to spur academic discourse with small groups - give them a task card and ask them to come up with the answer and explain to the class. Your students will appreciate getting to focus on one question at a time, and you will love all the way you can use these cards!
This set is appropriate for any middle school or lower grade high school class - probably best suited for grades 6 - 9, depending on your student's ability level.
I have lots of other great products for sale here at TpT. Here are a couple of my best-sellers:
Chemical Bonding Go Fish - Fantastically fun games to help students make sense of chemical bonding
Scientific Method and Experimental Design Unit - everything you need to help your students practice "thinking like a scientist."
Logic Puzzles - both science related and general interest. Great as bell ringers or enrichment or as transition activities. Kids love 'em!
