In this activity, students create a Facebook page for a state of matter. They will apply what they have learned about the various states of matter. They will identify the properties of their state as well as compare it to other states of matter. A rubric, template, and example are included in this product.
I have students pull their particular state of matter from a hat and then have them sit in groups with students who have different states from theirs. This helps them collaborate and learn about the various states as they work on the activity. I have students choose from solid, liquid, gas, plasma, and bose-enstien condensate.
There is a template for the Facebook page included in this product, however, there is also a website where students can enter in their information and include pictures. A link to this website is included in the rubric.
