Early literacy skills starts with learning beginning, middle and ending sounds. Students must first learn the alphabet, then learn the letter sounds and then learn how they're correlated (ie- words + sentences). Often students read the first sound and then move on. Teaching students to read the whole word (right to the last letter) builds strong literacy and phonological awareness skills.
This resource has 32 Ending sounds task cards that are perfect for making learning fun and purposeful.
