Detailed critical viewing guide for students to use as they watch Woody Allen's Midnight in Paris. 8 pages. I have pictures of the artists, writers and musicians on the study guide so when these people show up in the movie it helps the students know who is being represented. Also included are little snippets of information about the iconic settings in this movie, and about things like the Peugeot. This is an excellent movie to show students what Modernism was after or during "teaching" what it was. With this guide they stay accountable and focused on details, and it gives them something more concrete for remembering the famous artists and musicians featured in the movie that we don't have time to get into our literature curriculum. I show this movie after reading Hemingway and T. S. Eliot, Marianne Moore, etc, and before Gatsby.
