Product Description
A humorous novel that is perfect to use as a part of your study on Australian Colonial History. In this novel study, you will receive: chapter questions, examining literature questions, book review requirements, The Helpful Bookmark and three worksheets.

Questions have been written for each chapter. They are in a format where students can cut out the question strip to initially use as a bookmark for the chapter, then paste into their workbooks to refer to when answering the questions.

Each chapter has questions based around the following concepts:
-Before Reading Class Discussion; review, predict, activate prior knowledge
-During Reading: use context clues to infer the meaning of selected words, then add them to the class word wall
-After Reading: Class Discussion: language features, literary strategies, reading strategies and story elements
-General Questions: independent work
At the completion of the book, there are questions for examining literature and a book review.

Blurb: Even though Midnite was 17, he wasn’t very bright. So when his father died his five animal friends decided to look after him. Khat, the Siamese cat, suggested he became a bushranger and Red Ned his horse offered to help. But it wasn’t very easy, especially when Trooper O’Grady kept putting him in prison. So it was just as well that in the end he found gold!
