This assignment is perfect for a beginning level of American Sign Language (ASL). It should be used with students who have already learned some background about the Milan Conference.
First students will watch a short video (2 min 35 sec) of a signed summary of the Milan Conference.

After watching the video (multiple times, with designated points where the teacher should pause the video) they will answer 5 questions either individually or in groups, about the video. They will need to use their knowledge of the Milan Conference, fingerspelling, and context clues to answer the questions.
