Thank you for previewing this set. The two pages you see are what you get. For the first paper, I have the children brainstorm what a military hero is and we write ideas on the board. The children then pick one idea to write about and draw a picture. For the second paper, I have the children come up with three words next to each letter. I do this in small groups so that they come up with their own thoughts instead of everyone having the same ideas. We sponsor a platoon that one of our student’s fathers is in charge of. So, when the papers look nice, we send them in a box of goodies over to Afghanistan. These papers would also work well to support local veterans.
