These cards teach body awareness, deep breathing, balancing, grounding and affirmation skills for children. Each Mindful Action card contains an illustration on one side and teaching instructions on the back. I created these cards as part of my graduate thesis, which explores how mindfulness impacts social emotional skills in children. My research study found that using these Mindful Action Cards for 5-7 minutes each day significantly lessened instances of aggression and impulsive behavior in my classroom.
