All of the things you need to run a school-wide Mindful Day are included! Also works great as single classroom stations or stand alone lessons. Kids will learn what it is all about to be mindful, why it is so important, calm down strategies, and more!
School- wide event and/or rotations between teams of teachers:
Put together a school wide event/day to celebrate Mindfulness. Mindful March, Mindful May, Mindful Day, Mindfulness Matters etc. Have each grade level team up in groups of 3 or 4. Each teacher within that group can take on or be assigned one of the activities. Set up a rotation schedule so that a few classes of kids rotate to that teacher for the lesson and activity. Each activity works for anywhere between 25-30 minutes. They can be shortened or lengthened as needed.
Individually within a classroom:
These activities can also be used as individual lessons done as an “one and done” enrichment lesson. They can be done as a mini- unit within your classroom. You can also structure it as a theme day in your classroom and set up the stations as centers. Signs are provided for doing this type of model.

NOTE- I was able to purchase all of the rocks, pompoms, and googly eyes needed for the projects for a school of between 700-800 kids for under $35. :) Michaels has great teacher discounts and coupons to use for pompoms and eyes. Walmart is where I found the rocks- in the craft department.
This pack CAN be used as a stand alone pack. It can also be used as a start to Mindfulness Activities for Kids (Pack 2) in my store.
