Mindfulness can help our students to improve emotional regulation and focus. Mindfulness strategies including mindful breathing are easy to implement in a classroom to provide our students with easy ways to help themselves to feel calmer, more focused and to address compassion and kindness. This simple mindfulness craft provides kids with a tool to support calm, mindful breathing.

This simple, tactile tool helps kids learn to take deep, relaxing breaths to help them feel calmer and focused. By followng the simple instructions, students will create a simple breathing stick with craft beads and a small pipe cleaner. A mini-poster is included to remind students how to use the tool.

This freebie includes: CRAFTIVITY AND two MINI-POSTERS. Great for classroom and therapy use. This simple mindfulness strategy works well in calm down corners, and as a tool for focus and self-regulation before and after standardized testing.
