Mindfulness and Learning Styles is a series of eight sessions aimed to help students identify the types of learning that are possible and where they fit on the spectrum. Each five minute session is centered around one of the learning styles (audio, visual, verbal, physical, logical, social, solitary) and students are given an opportunity to reflect on how these styles fit certain subjects and their own personal approach to those subjects.
A simple activity accompanies each session which can be used at the teacher’s discretion. The opportunity to reflect, however, is the central aim.
