A six week unit teaching mindfulness for elementary students. Students will learn the definition of mindfulness, and how they can incorporate the habit into their lives to calm their bodies, minds, and emotions. Through six lessons, the teacher guides students to use the mindfulness practice during whole-group mindfulness moments and throughout their day.

• When your mind becomes scattered, you can use your breath to calm your body and slow down your brain.
• You can use mindfulness as a tool to recognize, understand, and control your emotions.
• Mindfulness is a habit you can come back to again and again throughout the day.
