Mindfulness is about being aware of your feelings and how they impact you. When you are being mindful, you are able to regulate your behavior. Mindfulness is a way of being and is something that must be practiced in the classroom just like a subject area. Mindfulness is ideal for any student, but especially for your students that are struggling with ADHD, anxiety or behavioral problems.
Within this product I have created Mindfulness Posters as well as different mindfulness activities that you can do with your students. There are 5 different mindfulness activities. Ideally, this product is created to do one different mindfulness activity each day.
Each of the activities are explicitly outlined and scripted. There are two activities per page. I would encourage you to print them off, laminate then and attach them to a ring for easy everyday use. There are also writing reflection sheets that you can use with your students after a mindfulness exercise.
This product is in color as well as printer friendly black and white.
