Mindfulness and studying provides an opportunity for students to reflect on how they study and the habits that may be beneficial to improving their study habits. By looking at what makes us a better learner, students can begin to identify just how organized they are, how they use their time and the space available to them. Students are encouraged in this series of seven five minute sessions to look at a better balance in their study habits as well as to identify the distractions that may be impacting on how they work.
Each session comes with a simple activity that can be used at the teacher’s discretion. The audio and the opportunity to reflect is the main goal rather than any prescribed outcome but it is hoped that a short period of regular reflection will impact on the classroom as a whole over the learning year.
