This activity requires students to answer 12 questions related to minerals and their properties. Once finished, students will use the answers to color the corresponding parts of a fun crystal mandala coloring page. I have made sure to include questions that address misconceptions regarding minerals. For example, many students believe that rocks and minerals are the same thing. Or, they believe that minerals are not important to our daily lives. This question sheet will help clarify a few of these misconceptions.
