This guide was updated and expanded in February of 2017.
This is a two-week study for the book titled The Courage of Sarah Noble, by Alice Dalgliesh. In this book, Sarah's courage is tested when she and her family become pioneers.
This guide was designed for 3rd-4th grade students.
A mini-guide contains vocabulary activities, discussion questions, reading activities, extension activities, and an answer key.
This is an interactive guide that enables parents/teachers to facilitate an oral discussion of the book, but it only provides space for one student to complete fill-in-the-blank activities. If you are interested using this guide with more than one student, check out the options:
Reproducibles (they contain all of the fill-in-the-blank activities):
Mini-Guide for Beginners: The Courage of Sarah Noble Reproducibles
Workbook format (space is provided for students to write answers):
Mini-Guide for Beginners: The Courage of Sarah Noble Workbook
Note: The content of the guide in interactive format and in workbook format is the same; the only difference is spacing.
Mini-guides were designed for homeschoolers, but they are also used in schools and co-ops. For more information, click on the link:
