This guide was updated and expanded in October of 2016.
This is a two-week study for the book titled All-of-a-Kind Family, by Sydney Taylor. This book contains the adventures of a Jewish family in New York in the early 1900s.
A mini-guide contains vocabulary activities, discussion questions, reading activities, extension activities, and an answer key.
This is an interactive guide that enables parents/teachers to facilitate an oral discussion of the book, but it only provides space for one student to complete the fill-in-the-blank activities. If you are interested in using this guide with more than one student, check out the options:
1) Reproducibles: They contain all of the fill-in-the-blank activities:
Mini-Guide for Juniors: All of a Kind Family Reproducibles
a. When you purchase one set of Reproducibles, you have permission to make a copy for each of your students.
b. An Answer Key is not provided for the Reproducibles; the answers for the activities on the Reproducibles are found at the end of the mini-guide.
2) Workbook: This guide is available in workbook format. In this format there is room for students to write answers. If you purchase the guide in workbook format, you will not need the Reproducibles.
Mini-Guide for Juniors: All of a Kind Family Workbook
NOTE: The content of the interactive guide and the guide in workbook format is the same; the only difference is the spacing:
Mini-guides were originally designed for homeschoolers; they are also used in schools and co-ops. For more information, click on the link:
