This is a two-week literature guide for the book titled Bound for Oregon, by Jean Van Leeuwen. In this book, the Todd family demonstrates true pioneering spirit on their two thousand mile trek.
The mini-guide contains ten sections that include vocabulary exercises, discussion questions, reading activities, life application/Bible connections, and an answer key.
The interactive guide enables parents/teachers to facilitate an oral discussion of this book, but it only provides space for one student to complete fill-in-the-blank activities. The following options are available for using the guide with more than one student:
1) Reproducibles are available from TeachersPayTeachers:
Mini-Guide for Juniors: Bound for Oregon Reproducibles
The reproducibles contain all of the fill-in-the blank activities found in the mini-guide.
2) The guide is also available in workbook format (if you purchase the workbook, you do not need the reproducibles because all of the fill-in-the-blank activities are included in the workbook):
Mini-Guide for Juniors: Bound for Oregon Workbook
Space is available for students to write answers to questions and to complete the activities.
Note: The content of the Interactive guide and the Workbook guide are the same.
Mini-guides are used in home schools, co-ops, and traditional schools. Click on the link to browse through all of the
