This is a two-week literature guide for the book Lumber Camp Library, by Natalie Kinsey-Warnock. In this book, 10-year-old Ruby wants to be a lumberjack like her pa. But when her ma insists she go to school, Ruby discovers a wonderful new world: reading and books. The book is set in the 1920s in Vermont.
The mini-guide contains ten sections that include vocabulary exercises, discussion questions, reading activities, life application/Bible connections, and a complete answer key.
In this workbook version of the guide, space is provided for students to write answers to all of the questions and to complete the activities.
